Privacy Policy

WithSavy (“Savy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides an all-in-one business operating system for independent service and product businesses in Nigeria, including a professional website, online booking and ordering, customer relationship management, and payments. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to business owners who create a Savy account (“Businesses”) and to the customers who interact with a Business’s Savy-hosted website to book services or place orders (“Customers”).

Account information. When a Business signs up, we collect name, email address, phone number, business name, and business details provided during onboarding.

Customer information. When a Customer books a service or places an order on a Business’s Savy website, we collect the name, email, phone number, and (for orders) delivery address supplied at checkout.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store full card or bank account numbers on our servers — our payment processors handle and secure that data. We do store payment references, amounts, and status for reconciliation.

Usage data. We automatically collect limited technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to keep the platform secure and to improve it.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Savy platform and each Business’s public website
• Process bookings, orders, and payments, and send related notifications
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
• Improve and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations

We share information with service providers who help us run the platform, solely to deliver the service, including:

• Paystack — payment processing and payouts
• Clerk — account creation, login, and authentication
• Convex — our application database and backend infrastructure
• Cloudflare — image and file storage (R2)
• Resend — transactional email delivery (booking confirmations, receipts, and account notifications)
• Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) — WhatsApp booking notifications, for Businesses and Customers who opt in

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

A Business can see the booking/order history, contact details, and notes associated with its own Customers, since that information is necessary to run their business through Savy.

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting infrastructure — to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain account and transaction data for as long as an account is active and as needed to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may request deletion of your data as described in Section 8, subject to records we are required to keep by law (e.g. payment records).

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

In accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

Savy is intended for use by business owners and their adult customers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Savy after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
